I’m Asia DeFouw, founder of The Toronto Facialist, a private facial studio in Summerhill, Toronto.

After more than 15 years in the beauty industry, including years spent working in Los Angeles, I’ve learned that the best approach to skin is a personal one. I take the time to understand your skin, your lifestyle and what you want to achieve, then create a treatment and home-care approach that feels entirely your own.

I want every visit to feel considered, unhurried and personal. You’ll always work directly with me, from your first consultation through every treatment and recommendation that follows.

My Summerhill studio is an intimate space where I see clients one-on-one and every appointment is dedicated entirely to you.

I offer customized facials, buccal face sculpting, SkinPen microneedling, LED light therapy, microdermabrasion and advanced skin treatments, with each experience tailored to what your skin needs that day and where we want to take it over time.

For me, beautiful skin comes from consistency and knowing when to do more, when to do less and which treatments will make the greatest difference. As I get to know your skin, I can continually refine your treatments and home-care routine.

Many of my clients value having one trusted person who knows their skin, remembers its history and can guide them through changes over time. That relationship is an important part of The Toronto Facialist experience.

The skincare I offer online is an extension of what I do in my treatment room.

I personally curate professional skincare from iS Clinical, Epicutis, SIV and ANFISA, choosing products that I feel deserve a place in a thoughtful, effective skincare routine.

You’ll find advanced cleansers, vitamin C and antioxidant serums, moisturizers, retinol, eye treatments, SPF, masks and specialized formulas for concerns including fine lines, dehydration, uneven tone, texture, sensitivity, blemishes and skin barrier support.

I’ve kept the collection intentionally considered. Skincare can become overwhelming very quickly, and more products rarely make choosing the right ones any easier. I want you to be able to discover exceptional formulas, understand where they fit and build a routine that feels simple, elevated and right for your skin.
